Hypothetically, after Day I of material removal, site capacity would
Be limited to 29,250 cubic yards of material on-site; Day 2 would decrease to 28,500,
etc. Once odors were reduced, the site's allowable capacity would increase at a
similar rate until the threshold of 30,000 cubic yards was reached.
3.2.3 Litter Control
Clean green material delivered from off-site sources by definition is 99.5% free of
contamination. Green material from packer trucks ranges from 2% to 6% in
contamination. Self -haul vehicle are typically most contaminated ranging from 1%
to 10% contamination. The contamination found in green material so typically inert
materials from the yard and garage.
Operator maintains a 20 -yard roll -off box for all non -clean green material delivered. A
licensed waste hauler services the debris box.
Vehicles hauling green materials to the facility will be required to be covered if the
loads are susceptible to loss of branches or other green material on the roadways off-
site and on-site. Materials dropped on on-site roads will be picked up daily. The litter
Will be policed and removed from the facility's perimeter at least weekly or more
Frequently if necessary. Site personnel and facility users will be direct to use litter
barrels, which are provided for trash.
8/27/2003
