Storm Water Pollution Prevention and Monitoring Plan <br />Monthly and Annual Observations are conducted by the Safety Compliance Manager, <br />Michelle Post. Any sampling done is reported and kept within the Safety Office. <br />“This SWPPPwas developed to meet the requirements given in Section X of the NPDES, <br />General Industrial Storm Water Permit issued by the State of California SWRCB Water <br />Quality Order # 2014-0058-DWQ, as amended by Orders 2015-0122-DWQ and 2018-XXXX- <br />SWQ (General Permit).” <br />Ourfacility consists of a French Drain system alongthe North, East, and South facility <br />boundaries, and has one Outfall/Point of Discharge. All drain openings are equipped with a <br />filter and/or squid to help decrease pollutants by absorption. <br />California Materials BMPs: <br />. Good housekeeping, including Housekeeping Policy, implies all employees are to <br />pick up after themselves, keep their work areas clean, which will all help eliminate <br />illness/injury as well as keep us compliant with Spill Prevention and SWPPP. <br />• Preventative Maintenance-vehicle, mobile equipment, and facility equipment <br />maintenance is performed on a regular basis. <br />• Spill and Leak Prevention and Response-establish procedures and/or controls to <br />minimize spillsAeaks, implement those procedures, and identify all <br />necessary/appropriate splll/leak responses. <br />• Material Handling and Waste Management - minimize handling industrial materials, <br />contain all industrial materials in the correct containment, make sure all <br />containments are covered or held in proper storage, and observe/clean any outdoor <br />material that can be seen as a contaminate. <br />• Erosion and Sediment Control - pavement and crush rock are used as a primary <br />erosion and sediment control. <br />Advanced BMPs: covered tire area, and diesel fuel transfer containment box. <br />CMAT <br />AGGREGATES "TRUCKING <br />Disposal of oily and/or contaminated materials shall not be thrown in the trash. Any <br />oily or contaminated materials shall be disposed of properly and placed in the 55 <br />gallon drum assigned to these types of materials. This drum is Located behind the trailer <br />shop, in the covered patio that holds the used filter drums, on top of the secondary <br />containment.
