Training records for hazardous waste handling/spill prevention
were not able to be produced.
REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar
with proper waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal
facility operations and emergencies.
CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) for employees whose responsibilities
include hazardous waste.
Resolution The maintenance team are the only facility personnel who's job requires handling of hazardous waste.
All employees have been trained on their responsibilities as it relates to handling, draining, and removing
hazardous waste from the premises. See training documentation in the linked google drive folder.
