Geospte& <br /> consultants <br /> • Grab groundwater and monitoring well samples will be analyzed for VOCs (including <br /> MTBE) and TPH-g using USEPA Method 826013, and TPH-d using USEPA Method <br /> 8015B. <br /> • Soil vapor samples will be analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene <br /> (BTEX) and naphthalene by USEPA Method TO-15; as well as helium and oxygen' <br /> via American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) International D-1946. <br /> • If collected, LNAPL samples will be analyzed for TPH-g using USEPA Method <br /> 826013, and TPH-d using USEPA Method 8015B. <br /> 4.2.7 Equipment Decontamination Procedures <br /> All non-dedicated down-hole drilling, augering, and/or soil sampling equipment will be <br /> decontaminated after arrival on-site and after use in each boring. The equipment will be <br /> thoroughly cleaned before it is removed from the Site at the end of field sampling. The following <br /> general decontamination procedures will be followed: <br /> • Perform a pre-wash rinse with tap water. <br /> • Wash with a solution of tap or site water and phosphate-free soap (e.g., Alconox®). <br /> • Rinse three times with distilled water. <br /> • Store in a clean closed container for next use. <br /> Groundwater monitoring well sampling equipment will be decontaminated in accordance with <br /> SOP protocols included in Attachment A. <br /> 4.2.8 Investigation-Derived Waste <br /> Upon completion of sample collection activities at a location, excess soil collected and not <br /> needed for analysis and excess groundwater and decontamination water will be considered <br /> investigation-derived waste (IDW). IDW will be collected in 55-gallon drums, which will be <br /> held in a secure area and appropriately labeled. Composite samples of soil and samples of liquid <br /> IDW will be collected and chemically analyzed to obtain representative data for disposal <br /> profiling. Soil cuttings and liquid IDW(including equipment rinse water and groundwater) will <br /> be at a minimum analyzed for the following constituents: <br /> • VOCs and TPH-g by USEPA Method 8260B. <br /> • TPH Full Scan by USEPA 8015M. <br /> • Title 22 Metals (California Assessment Manual [CAM] 17)by USEPA Method <br /> 6010B. <br /> • Mercury by USEPA Method 7471A. <br /> ' If oxygen levels are measured at greater than or equal to four percent (4%), then a 1,000-fold bioattenuation of <br /> petroleum vapors can be assumed for the bioattenuation zone per the LTCP. <br /> Investigation Work Plan—UST 817B 12 December 2024 <br />
