The following Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs)were identified in connection with the subject <br /> property: <br /> • The historical use of the subject property by various auto parts and towing companies in <br /> conjunction with the presence of an on-site septic tank, and the lack of sampling data, represents <br /> a REC at the subject property. <br /> • The historical use of the subject property by various auto parts and towing companies in <br /> conjunction with the presence of an on-site grease trap (installed in approximately 1984) <br /> represents a REC at the subject property. <br /> Therefore, FR recommends a subsurface investigation at the subject property. <br /> Pre-drilling Activities <br /> • Perform Site Visit to verify existing conditions and pre-mark boring locations and notify Underground <br /> Service Alert (USA) of the intent to excavate or drill and use standard care to avoid potential damage <br /> to subsurface utilities. <br /> • A Site-specific Health and Safety Plan (Level D Health &Safety according to OSHA CFR 1910.120), will <br /> be prepared. <br /> Scope of Work/Field Investigation <br /> FR will conduct a site visit to pre-mark a total of three (3) proposed locations and contact USA Digalert <br /> to provide pre-clearance 72 hours prior to drilling. <br /> A geophysical survey will be conducted to evaluate potential subsurface features with environmental <br /> concerns such as backfilled former UST excavations, identify sewer lines, and identify utilities in the <br /> proposed drilling areas. <br /> The attached map (Figure 1) illustrates the proposed boring locations. A total of three (3) soil borings <br /> are proposed at selected locations at the subject property to a depths of 25 feet below ground surface <br /> (bgs). The table below summarizes the areas of concern (AOCs), proposed boring/sample depths, and <br /> analyses/testing methods. <br /> (�� ) 3 <br />
