Soil <br /> samples will be screened in the field for volatile organic compounds using a photoionization detector <br /> (PID) instrument. <br /> Three (3), 1-liter Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)-Certified Canisters will be utilized for <br /> collecting the soil gas samples from the soil vapor probes for the analysis of VOCs. After the allowed 2 <br /> hours of settling, FIR will collect a total of three (3) soil vapor samples in SUMMA Canisters. Soil vapor <br /> sampling will be conducted in accordance with DTSC Vapor Intrusion Guidance (2011a). <br /> The depth to groundwater beneath the subject property is not specifically known; however, FR obtained <br /> nearby groundwater data from the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) GeoTracker database. <br /> Based on data obtained from GeoTracker, a closed Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) site <br /> (California Stop, addressed 2224 Manthey Road) was located approximately 1,346 feet northwest of the <br /> subject property. Eleven (11) groundwater monitoring wells were located on this site and had a depth <br /> to groundwater range of 16.44 feet to 18.06 feet below ground surface (bgs). The wells were last <br /> measured in May 2013 (Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc., 2013). Groundwater in the vicinity of the <br /> subject property is expected to mirror the topography and flow in a westerly direction. <br /> 4 <br />
