• This bid proposal includes cost for mobilization and demobilization, liners, bentonite, asphalt patch, <br /> fuel, and cement. FR will backfill each boring according to County specifications, and restored to pre- <br /> drilling condition via applying patching materials. <br /> • Soil borings will be logged using the Unified Soils Classification System under the supervision of FR's <br /> State Professional Geologist (PG) or Registered Professional Engineer. Laboratory analysis will be <br /> compared to regulatory limits set forth by the DTSC, and San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (SFBRWQCB). <br /> • FR will collect three (3) groundwater samples. Borehole groundwater samples will be collected via <br /> temporary monitoring wells using dedicated Teflon and Masterflex tubing and a low-flow peristaltic <br /> pump. <br /> • Samples will be analyzed by a state-certified laboratory. <br /> Reporting <br /> Detectable results of groundwater sampling will be compared to the San Francisco Bay Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board's (SFBRWQCB) Environmental Screening Levels (ESLs) published in January 2019. <br /> The above screening levels were developed as tools to screen sites to evaluate the need for additional <br /> action in the form of additional assessment or evaluation.The screening levels are based on conservative <br /> levels derived from assessment of potential exposure pathways to the most sensitive property use. The <br /> screening levels are not default cleanup goals. It should be noted that the screening levels are guidelines <br /> and are not enforceable regulatory standards. <br /> Since the subject property is presently developed with a commercial/industrial building, and any future <br /> development would also be for commercial/industrial land use, comparison to commercial/industrial <br /> screening levels are most appropriate. <br /> A report detailing the sampling methodology and results of groundwater sampling will be prepared, and <br /> it will provide conclusions of the assessment and recommendations. The report will include maps <br /> showing soil boring locations, soil boring logs, and laboratory reports, and will be conducted by a <br /> California Professional Geologist, which meets the credentials of an Environmental Professional under <br /> 40 CFR312.10 (b). <br /> Project Management <br /> Includes project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, laboratory work order and client <br /> correspondence. <br /> Exclusion and Assumptions <br /> • Sampling and testing of building materials for potential asbestos or lead based paint is not included <br /> in this scope of work. <br /> • No regulatory agency's supervision or oversight is applicable for this investigation. <br /> ��j� ) 5 <br />
