Geosyntec O
consultants
Description of Surrounding Property/Population:
North:
Agricultural Fields East: City of Stockton
South:
Agricultural Fields West: Agricultural Fields
Summary of Previous Site Investigations:
There have been extensive groundwater and soil investigations at the Site for the past 30 years.
In addition, there have been groundwater monitoring programs in place. The primary
constituents of concern(COCs) consist of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), metals, TPH,
and pesticides.
For VOCs in groundwater, cis-1,2-dichloroethene (cis-1,2-DCE) and vinyl chloride (VC) are
the primary COCs across the Site. Based on groundwater monitoring results collected between
2018 through 2022, cis-1,2-DCE concentrations range from non-detect to 5,400 micrograms
per liter(gg/1) and VC concentrations range from non-detect to 2,100 gg/1. Benzene is
additionally considered a COC in groundwater in the Central Area. Concentrations of benzene
in the central area range from non-detect to 85 gg/1.
In addition, based on groundwater data collected between 2018 through 2022, the following
COC concentration ranges exist:
• California Assessment Manual (CAM) 17 Metals: non-detect to 2.7 miligrams per liter
(mg/1).
• TPH: non-detect to 4,700 gg/1.
• Pesticides: non-detect to 0.04 gg/1.
Port of Stockton HASP A-1 05.01.2025
