Cessation TWW discharges to any module from which such a leak <br />or release has been confirmed and; <br />ii. Resumption of TWW discharges to any module where corrective <br />action measures result in cessation of the leak/release (e.g., where <br />sufficient repairs to the containment system have been implemented <br />and the Executive Officer has approved suspension or termination <br />of corrective action measures under Monitoring Specification E.32). <br />(5) Handle TWW in a manner consistent with all applicable requirements of <br />the California Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1973, including all <br />rules, regulations, and orders relating to hazardous waste. <br />b. Limited Exemption <br />In accordance with CHSC Section 25143.1.5(b), TWW removed from <br />electric, gas or telephone service (e.g., treated poles, pilings, posts) shall <br />be exempt from all of the above alternative management standards except <br />B.10.a(1), provided that it complies with this standard. See also Discharge <br />Specification B.9. <br /> <br />C. FACILITY SPECIFICATIONS <br />1. The Discharger shall immediately notify the Board of any flooding, unpermitted <br />discharge of waste off-site, equipment failure, slope failure, or other change in <br />site conditions that could impair the integrity of waste or leachate containment <br />facilities or precipitation and drainage control structures. See also Facility <br />Specification VII.D, SPRR. <br />2. Water and leachate used for facility maintenance shall be limited to the <br />minimum amount necessary for dust control and construction. Any such <br />application of leachate shall be subject to restrictions of this Order applicable <br />to liquid wastes (see Discharge Prohibition A.3 and Discharge Specification <br />B.1). <br />3. The Discharger shall maintain in good working order any facility, control <br />system, or monitoring device installed to achieve compliance with this Order, <br />including, but not limited to, the landfill cover, cover grade, containment <br />system, leachate controls, precipitation and drainage controls, monitoring <br />wells, gas extraction system, and related landfill facilities. <br />4. To reduce the potential for a leachate release and ensure that all LCRS sumps <br />are operated in compliance with Discharge Specification B.5, all modules with <br />manually-operated LCRS sumps (i.e., Modules 1 and 3) shall, within two <br />years of adoption of this Order, be upgraded to meet the sump pump <br />specifications described in Construction Specification D.2.d (i.e., automatic
