Dump Material / <br />Backfill into Laydown <br />Receiving Area <br />- Pinch Points <br />- Slips/Trips/Falls <br />- Line-of-Fire <br />- Dust Inhalation <br />- Earthmoving equipment (dozers, graders, <br />excavators, trenchers, rollers, compactors, <br />backhoe, skip loader) <br />1. Be aware of uneven surfaces, do not walk on wet slippery <br />surfaces, watch where you walk, wear boots with adequate tread <br />and raised heel. Drivers must maintain 3 points of contact when <br />un-tarping. <br />2. Do not stand in the line-of-fire of truck. Delivery drivers are <br />NOT permitted to stand between swinging tailgate to decon <br />edge of bed. <br />3. Ensure receiving area is delineated, spotter must maintain <br />eye contact with driver when backing into position to dump <br />load. <br />4. Ensure truck is located on a level surface when dumping, do <br />not stand in the line-of-fire, ensure truck is a safe distance from <br />the equipment to eliminate any risk of damage from equipment <br />swing or operation. <br />5.
