Import/Backfill & Soil Compaction: <br />• Place previously excavated pea gravel and soil overburden. <br />• Import and place 3/4" crushed gravel for backfill. <br />• Backfill up to 10" below grade and compact to 90%. <br />• Place a geotextile fabric on top to prevent the mixing of the aggregate base with <br />the backfill material. <br />• Import Class II recycled aggregate base (AB) material to provide a stable base <br />prior to asphalt restoration. <br />• Moisture condition, place, and compact Class II AB to 95%. The AB section will be <br />approximately 6" thick. <br /> <br />IX. Site Restoration: <br />• Restore the UST excavation area, dispenser areas , and pipeline trenches <br />(approximately 1,409 square feet) with 4" of hot -mix asphalt at 95% compaction, <br />with compaction testing documentation. <br />• Place a tack coat of oil on the edges of the existing asphalt. <br />• Roll and compact to a uniform finish. <br />• Broom clean ICS work areas. <br />• Provide general site cleaning. <br />• Demobilize all equipment, fencing, debris, and other materials. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
