<br />6 <br /> <br />6) Preparation of committee minutes of their meetings and the availability of these <br />Minutes to affected employees shall include issues discussed; and <br /> <br />7) Maintenance of these minutes for three years. <br /> <br />No employee shall be held liable for acts or omissions in connection with this safety and <br />health committee. <br />It is the policy of ICS to encourage all employees to report hazards existing at their <br />worksite to their supervisors or the Health and Safety Director so that corrective action <br />can be taken promptly. A suggestion box is provided to allow anonymous <br />notification by employees about hazards. Employees can also approach the <br />The Labor/Management Safety Committee is responsible for reporting possible hazards <br />in the workplace. <br />Employees who report such conditions will not be disciplined, nor will they suffer any <br />reprisals due to their actions. <br />Employees shall be kept informed of the requirements of the ICS IIPP through the use of <br />The following: <br /> <br />Meetings <br />Conducted by the Health and Safety Director or Project Manager and/or Site Safety <br />Officer <br />and/or Management during weekly operations meetings, and regular "toolbox" or <br />"Tailgate" safety meetings onsite. <br /> <br />Training Program <br />Conducted by job supervisors during informal safety meetings and on a one-to-one <br />basis. <br />Formal training will be conducted at the ICS office or field installations at regular <br />intervals. <br />Employees and subcontractors involved in projects subject to the provisions of 29 CFR <br />1910.120, "Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response" (HAWOPER) or to <br />the provisions of the State of California Regulations Title 8, Section 5192, with the same <br />title, <br />will have the required training and certifications within the time requirements and <br />applicability of the regulations. <br /> <br />Written Communication <br /> <br />Written communication will be in the form of memos and bulletins distributed by the <br />Labor/Management Safety and Health Committee or Health and Safety Director on a <br />monthly basis.
