A dOAQU1N Environmental Health Department <br /> CQLJIVTY AMENDED <br /> 9/17/2025 <br /> CP22 - HW SQG Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> GUNTERT&ZIMMERMAN CONST DIV INC 222 E FOURTH ST, RIPON August 25 2025 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One approximately 50 gallon draining table located outside north east side of the shop Il,was observed without <br /> hazardous waste label. <br /> - 10 black 55 gallon metal drums, 2 blue metal 55 gallon drums, 2 blue 55 gallon poly drums and 1 30 gallon poly <br /> drum containing various hazardous waste are observed with faded and illegible hazardous waste labels. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the words <br /> "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), <br /> accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 26 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2)3030017-Containers of hazardous waste closed except when adding or <br /> removing waste. <br /> OBSERVATION:The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br /> -One white 5 gallon and one blue 5 gallon bucket were observed in the hazardous material storage area was observed <br /> with unknown oily liquid and without lids. <br /> -One blue 5 gallon container observed inside the green secondary container located in the hazardous materials <br /> storage area was observed without a lid. <br /> -One white 5 gallon container was observed inside the green secondary container located in the hazardous materials <br /> storage area was observed without a a cap. <br /> -One 55 gallon drum containing used absorbent located in the indoor hazardous waste storage area,was observed <br /> without a lid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and storage, <br /> except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is (Minor)Violation. <br /> 28 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2)3030022- Incompatible waste in containers managed properly to prevent a <br /> reaction. <br /> OBSERVATION:The following incompatible wastes are stored in containers in a way that is not in compliance with <br /> these sections: <br /> -One 55-gallon drum containing an unknown paint substance was found near the paint booth with a hazardous waste <br /> label listing EPA Waste No. F003 and California Code 214 ("unspecified solvent mixture").
