Pandemic COVID-19 Vaccine Policy
Interim Guidelines and FAQ
May, 2021
Overview
AECOM's Pandemic COVID-19 Vaccine Policy provides an enterprise-wide approach to the expansion of
existing COVID-19 health and safety programs to address vaccines.
AECOM's position
AECOM is committed to safeguarding the health and safety of our employees, independent contractors,
subcontractors, and the public. Based on the information currently available,AECOM supports community
uptake of approved COVID-19 vaccines as the most effective measure to end the current global pandemic.
AECOM,therefore, strongly encourages, but does not require, all employees receive an approved vaccine
when available and eligible. To encourage take up of vaccines AECOM will support local vaccination efforts
where feasible.
AECOM will continue to require that all employees, independent contractors, subcontractors, and visitors to
AECOM workplaces comply with best practices for health and safety as communicated by local health
departments and/or the World Health Organization or U.S. Center for Disease Control.AECOM will
communicate those best practices and guidelines to employees through local Workplace Readiness Plans.
We recognize that access to vaccines may vary based on geography and that certain employees may be
reluctant or unable to receive the vaccine. To ensure safety and health standards are met, unvaccinated
employees may be required to adhere to certain safety protocols, which may include providing proof of
suitable negative test results.
Making an informed decision
We encourage all of our people to make an informed decision concerning COVID-19 vaccines by reviewing
vaccine facts sheets and following official information sources from the following reliable sources: World
Health Organization, U.S. Center for Disease Control, and their local health department. We encourage
employees to check the source of any other information they read about any vaccine, including that which is
posted on social media, as we are aware that there is a certain amount of misinformation circulating.
Treating colleagues with respect
We recognize that the subject of vaccinations can be divisive and can lead to the expression of strong
opinions. As always, all employees are expected to act professionally and comply with AECOM's Code of
Conduct. Failure to do so will be grounds for disciplinary action up to and including termination of
employment.
©AECOM Restricted AECOM
Cw■
