(Former) <br /> Stockton, California <br /> 1.2 Purpose and Scope of QA/QC Plan <br /> The purpose of the QA/QC Plan is to demonstrate the reliability and defensibility of the samples and data <br /> collected and to assess the consistency of the overall sampling effort, including collection, transport, and analysis. <br /> This QA/QC Plan sets forth quality guidelines for activities, services, and products related to the PEA and is <br /> designed to ensure that project goals are accomplished in an approved manner by technically trained, competent <br /> staff. <br /> The QA/QC Plan includes the following major components: <br /> • Identification of qualified person(s) conducting the sampling and the certified laboratory <br /> responsible for analyzing the samples; <br /> • Data quality objectives; <br /> • Procedures for sample collection and handling; and <br /> • Requirements reporting, storage, validation, and preservation of analytical data. <br /> CDIM—Fairgrounds Industrial Park Page 2 <br />
