calm CDIM <br /> Corporate Safety Program <br /> HSP1 Personal Protective Equipment <br /> -1.1-— Rev. 1 08/23/2018 <br /> No laundering of lead contaminated clothing is permitted. Lead contaminated clothing shall be disposed <br /> of in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. The SSHO or PM shall assure that contaminated <br /> protective clothing which is to be disposed of is placed in a closed container in the change area which <br /> prevents dispersion of lead outside the container. CDIM shall ensure that the containers of contaminated <br /> protective clothing and equipment are labeled as follows: DANGER: CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT <br /> CONTAMINATED WITH LEAD. MAY DAMAGE FERTILITY OR THE UNBORN CHILD. CAUSES <br /> DAMAGE TO THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM. DO NOT EAT, DRINK OR SMOKE WHEN <br /> HANDLING. DO NOT REMOVE DUST BY BLOWING OR SHAKING. DISPOSE OF LEAD <br /> CONTAMINATED WASH WATER IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE LOCAL, STATE, OR <br /> FEDERAL REGULATIONS. <br /> 5.0 RESPIRATORY PROTECTION PROGRAM <br /> The HSPM or SHSO if the HSPM is unavailable will specify the required respiratory protection equipment <br /> and will select the proper cartridges for the chemicals of concern (COC) at each site as described in the <br /> PSHP.
