Perform frequent hand washing with soap for at least 20 seconds paying attention to wrists and <br /> fingernails and then dry hands with clean cloth/paper towel <br /> 2. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% <br /> alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry <br /> 3. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth, especially with unwashed hands;wash hands after touching <br /> own face <br /> 4. Wash work clothes frequently <br /> 5. Practice cough etiquette, cover mouth when coughing or sneezing <br /> PPE and Engineering Controls <br /> 1. Use proper ventilation whenever available when working in the proximity of others <br /> 2. Mask Wearing Guidelines <br /> a. If employees are not fully vaccinated, they should wear a mask in indoor work and public <br /> places; <br /> b. In general, employees do not need to wear a mask in outdoor settings; however, in areas <br /> with high numbers of COVID 19 cases, they should consider wearing a mask in crowded <br /> outdoor settings and for activities with close contact with others who are not fully <br /> vaccinated; <br /> c. If employees are fully vaccinated, but have a weakened immune system, they may need to <br /> take extra steps to protect themselves, like wearing a mask; <br /> d. Fully vaccinated employees can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically <br /> distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, <br /> and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. <br /> 3. Use gloves as a last resort when hand washing and hand sanitizer are not available. <br /> Respiratory Etiquette <br /> 1. Cover mouths and noses when sneezing or coughing; use elbows instead of hands; <br /> 2. No handshaking, fist bumping or hugs; <br /> 3. Place used tissues in trash receptacles immediately. <br /> Fomites <br /> 1. Avoid using other worker's phones, desks, offices, etc.; <br /> 2. Clean frequently touched surfaces such as steering wheels, computer keyboards, phones, and <br /> other equipment daily; <br /> 3. Use tools dedicated to each employee, or use disinfects when multiple persons use the same <br /> tools or equipment; <br /> 4. Avoid unnecessary procedures that might generate fine-particulate aerosols (i.e., pressure- <br /> cleaning). <br /> 6.7 Procedures If An Employee Becomes Sick <br /> Employees are actively encouraged to stay home when sick, and to report any indicative symptoms, such <br /> as acute respiratory distress or fever, to their employer. The following procedures apply in the event of an <br /> employee becoming sick: <br /> 1. Immediately send employees with acute respiratory symptoms home or to seek medical care; <br /> 2. Employees experiencing fever or acute respiratory symptoms should not return to work until at <br /> least three full days without symptoms have passed, and at least 10 full days since symptoms first <br /> appeared have passed; <br /> 3. Employees who are well but have a sick family member with COVID 19 should immediately notify <br /> their employer and follow CDC-guidelines; <br /> 4. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act requires certain employers to provide employees <br /> with paid sick leave for specified reasons related to COVID 19; <br />
