Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: CHINA BOWL, 1170 W MAIN ST, RIPON 95366 <br />Food Program Official Inspection Report <br /> #26 Approved Thawing Methods <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe frozen raw meat bulk bag placed in one compartment of the 3 comp sink to be thawed. 3 comp <br />sink to be used to wash dirty utensils. Prep sink for food thawing. Move the frozen meat to prep sink to be properly thawed <br />using one of the approved thawing method mentioned in the below code paragraph. Sanitize the ware wash sink compartment. <br />Correct today. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be thawed under refrigeration completely submerged under cold running water of sufficient <br />velocity to flush loose particles in microwave oven during the cooking process. (114018, 114020, 114020.1) <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: I observe 2 open bags of dry food in the back storage area. Store dry food in containers with tight lids and <br />labels. Correct today. <br />Dry food containers, in dry storage room, have loose lids. Provide tight lids to the food containers. Correct in 1 week. <br />REPEATED VIOLATION. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving. (114047, 114049, 114051, 114053, 114055, 114067(h), 114069 (b)) <br /> #33 Nonfood Contact Surfaces Clean <br />OBSERVATIONS: Bottom shelf of 2 D freezer has food debris. Clean surface today and as needed. <br />One of the hood filter plates on the left side of the hood, has some grease accumulation and showing a gap. Seal the gap and <br />clean the filter plate. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean.
