LOAD CHECKER OR OTHER EMPLOYEE FINDS PROHIBITED WASTE FOR WHICH THE <br />RESPONSIBLE PARTY IS UNKNOWN: <br /> <br /> This situation may involve discovery, by site employees, of prohibited waste for which the <br />responsible party is unknown. In this case, the waste is removed from the site and disposed of <br />at a hazardous waste site by a licensed hazardous waste hauler. If the waste is containerized, <br />it is removed to an on-site hazardous waste storage locker. If it is not containerized, the area <br />is marked to adequately offset fill operations until removal is performed; and procedures listed <br />in Section IV, “Procedures for Handling Identified Hazardous Waste”, are followed for ultimate <br />disposal.
