Fire pump house Diesel Fuel Tank • Fuel tank is hard piped to the emergency fire pump house. Re- fueling of the tank is closely supervised. A spill kit is available during the fueling operation. • Double wall storage tank Landfill Solid waste, leachate, Oils, greases, and fuels from landfill vehicles and equipment. • The landfill operates under a State of California permit which contains pollution control measures required of landfills • The landfill has a daily cover requirement and wind screens to prevent wind-blown trash. • The landfill has a leachate collection system which collects and discharges leachate back onto the active landfill module. • Spill kits are available for spills oil, fuel, or other vehicular fluids. • Storm water, groundwater, and leachate in the landfill cells are captured and applied back onto the landfill cell (except for Module 1) • Surface runoff flows and/or is pumped to storm water retention basins Recycling center building Solid waste, green waste, white waste, e-waste, household hazardous waste, and recycled paint.
