The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br />addressed for KING ISLAND MARINA as of May 07, 2026. <br />Open violations from March 20, 2025 inspection <br />Violation #23 - 3030007 - Labeled all containers or portable tanks containing hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers were: <br />-A small red hazardous waste container overfilled with used filters and used absorbent pads was observed in the <br />hazardous waste storage shed with a hazardous waste label that was missing the accumulation start date. It also had <br />an incomplete listing of contents that did not include filters. Part of the generator name and address on this label was <br />illegible. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the words <br />“Hazardous Waste”, name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), <br />accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action <br />statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within <br />30 days. <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />¨ This violation will be corrected by (date): ¨ This violation was corrected <br />¨ Supporting documents included <br />Violation #26 - 3030017 - Containers of hazardous waste closed except when adding or removing waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br />-One small red hazardous waste container overfilled with used oil/fuel filters and used absorbent pads was observed <br />open in the hazardous waste storage shed. <br />-An open drip pan containing a pourable amount of oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage shed. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and storage, <br />except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br />when not adding or removing waste.
