The following is an itemized list of violations that have not been addressed for METAL <br /> FINISHING SOLUTIONS - STOCKTON CA as of April 06, 2026. <br /> Open violations from November 04, 2025 inspection <br /> OBSERVATION: During the inspection, the facility stated that they do not inspect the hazardous waste storage area <br /> along the inner east wall of the main building. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:The owner or operator shall inspect areas used for container storage or transfer, at least <br /> weekly, looking for leaking containers and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by <br /> corrosion or other factors. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately begin conducting and documenting weekly inspections of all hazardous waste <br /> storage areas. Maintain records on site for three years. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting <br /> documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling.The containers were: <br /> -Two totes containing rinse tank droppings cleanup with a hazardous waste labels missing the physical state <br /> -Two 55-gallon drums containing alkaline sludge stage 2 with hazardous waste labels missing the hazardous <br /> characteristics and physical state <br /> -One 55-gallon drum with a corrosive sticker with no hazardous waste label. Vice President Allan Rodriguez stated <br /> that the drum contains waste <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the words <br /> "Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), <br /> accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all containers as required for hazardous waste.
