The following is an itemized list of Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Program <br />violations that have not been addressed for Valley Transport Refrigeration as of August <br />26, 2026. <br />Open violations from July 22, 2025 inspection <br />OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated that employees who handle hazardous waste <br />were properly trained. <br />- Accountant Linda Jimenez stated that employees were not trained in Hazardous Waste management . <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br />waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br />emergencies. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Department (EHD) for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous waste. <br /> <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />¨ This violation will be corrected by (date): ¨ This violation was corrected <br />¨ Supporting documents included <br />OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers were: <br />- 1 black 55 gallon drum of "GASOLINE/DIESEL" did not have an accumulation start date. <br />- 1 black 55 gallon drum of "Diesel" did not have an accumulation start date <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the words <br />“Hazardous Waste”, name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition (contents), <br />accumulation start date <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br />action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br />within 30 days. <br /> <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />¨ This violation will be corrected by (date): ¨ This violation was corrected <br />¨ Supporting documents included <br />Page 2 of 5
