D. Truck Route <br /> Contractor shall confine truck traffic to truck route shown on Attachment B. <br /> E. Site Restoration and Cleanup <br /> At all times during the work, keep the work area clean and orderly, and upon completion of the <br /> work, repair all damage caused by equipment and leave the project free of rubbish or excess <br /> materials of any kind. Cleanup of the work area shall be accomplished in a timely manner. <br /> Should the City be required to cleanup the work area due to failure of the Contractor to <br /> accomplish such cleanup in a timely manner, the Contractor shall reimburse the City for all <br /> costs incurred. <br /> Stockpile excavated materials in a manner that will cause the least damage to adjacent <br /> improvements, or fences, regardless of whether these are on private property, or on state, <br /> county, or city rights-of-way. Remove all excavated materials and leave these surfaces in a <br /> condition equivalent to their original condition. Replace topsoiled areas, raked and graded to <br /> conform to their original contours. <br /> All existing drainage ditches and culverts shall be reopened and graded and natural drainage <br /> restored. Restore culverts broken or damaged to their original condition and location. <br /> F. Storage Facilities and Equipment Protection <br /> The Contractor shall provide storage facilities for the protection of equipment, materials, <br /> supplies and tools, and shall insure that the facilities used for the storage of materials which <br /> deteriorate when exposed to moisture is moisture-proof. Location shall be approved by the <br /> Engineer. Storage facilities shall be clean and in proper order at all times. <br /> Equipment, products and materials shall be shipped, handled, stored, and installed in ways <br /> which will prevent damage to the items. <br /> Pipe and appurtenances shall be handled, stored off the ground, and installed as recommended <br /> by the manufacturer. Pipes with paint, tape coatings, linings or the like shall be stored to protect <br /> the coating or lining from physical damage or other deterioration. <br /> All equipment shall be protected against damage from moisture, dust, handling, or other cause <br /> during transport from manufacturer's premises to site. During the interval between the delivery <br /> of equipment to the site and installation, all equipment, unless otherwise specified, shall be <br /> stored in an enclosed !space affording protection from weather, dust and mechanical damage <br /> and providing favorable temperature, humidity and ventilation conditions to ensure against <br /> equipment deterioration. Manufacturer's recommendations shall be adhered to in addition to <br /> these requirements. <br /> Equipment and materials to be located outdoors may be stored outdoors if protected against <br /> moisture condensation. Equipment shall be stored at least six-inches above ground. Temporary <br /> power shall be provided to energize space heaters or other heat sources for control of moisture <br /> condensation.
