12. All excavations shall be restored with permanent pavement and striping when the <br /> length of temporary surfaced trench exceeds 1,500 lineal feet or by segment of <br /> road as determined by the City and County. Final 'trench paving will also be <br /> required to be placed when interruptions or delays of the work exceed 2 weeks. <br /> 13. No final paving for trench repair or road surfacing shall occur between November — <br /> 1 and March 31 without prior City and County approval. <br /> MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> No measurement will be made. Full compensation for conforming to these requirements, <br /> including all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work <br /> involved in schedule control and pipe connections necessary for completion of the work, as <br /> shown on the Contract Plans, as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special <br /> provisions and as directed by the Engineer, shall be considered as included in the prices paid _ <br /> for the various contract items of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> SECTION 01015 —TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br /> This section specifies the general requirements for the Contractor's temporary facilities at the <br /> job site and for the prosecution of the work. The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for <br /> review his/her proposed plan and layout for all temporary offices, sanitary facilities, storage _ <br /> yards, temporary phone service, and temporary power service and distribution. <br /> A. Contractor's Staging and Work Areas <br /> The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer, for review for proposed plan and layout for all <br /> temporary offices and storage yards. The Contractor shall make its own arrangements for <br /> staging, storage, and shop areas necessary for the proper execution of the work, including <br /> location for placement of office trailer. The Contractor shall pay all fees, insurance and permits <br /> for such use. The Contractor's equipment, vehicles, and materials shall not remain in public <br /> streets during non-working hours. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to transport and <br /> store such items at the Contractor's own facility or within construction easements on non-public <br /> areas of the end of each work day. <br /> B. Security <br /> The Contractor shall at all times be responsible for the security of its equipment. The City will _ <br /> not take any responsibility for missing or damaged equipment, materials, tools or personal <br /> belongings. <br /> C. Contractor's Utilities <br /> For all services, the Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor and materials required <br /> for making the service connection and running pipe, conduit, cable, pumps and other items as — <br /> needed from the connection point to the location where Contractor needs service. Installation <br /> must meet City standards. No asphalt cutting and patching is allowed.
