In addition to the overall schedule, the Contractor shall submit, in accordance with <br /> Section 01300, a schedule of the first 60 days at the preconstruction meeting, a three-week bar <br /> chart schedule to be provided weekly after acceptance of the overall schedule. <br /> The three-week bar chart schedule shall be provided weekly. The format shall be one week of <br /> history and two weeks of look ahead. It shall be on a work crew level but with schedule activity _ <br /> numbers clearly indicated. It shall be directly produced from the approved project CPM schedule <br /> database not independently from some other data. <br /> The Contractor shall not be permitted to sequester shared float through such strategies as <br /> extending duration estimates to consume available float time, extensive crew/resource <br /> sequestering, etc. <br /> The schedule shall allow time for inspection by Engineer, inspectors, and other personnel <br /> involved in project reviews. In addition, the schedule shall include coordination activities for <br /> permits, electric service, phone service, and other utility and regulatory requirements. — <br /> Contractor shall schedule and coordinate with PG&E for electric service. As a minimum, notify <br /> PG&E five months prior to date required for permanent electric service. — <br /> C. Submittal <br /> Within 21 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall submit, in <br /> accordance with Section 01300, a construction schedule representing in detail all planned <br /> procurement and on-site construction activities. The schedule shall be prepared on reproducible _ <br /> paper. A computer diskette of the database shall be provided to facilitate analysis. <br /> Within 7 days after receipt of the submittal, the Engineer will review the submitted schedule and <br /> return one copy of the marked-up original to the Contractor. If the Engineer finds that the <br /> submitted schedule does not comply with specified requirements, the corrective revisions will be <br /> noted on the submitted copy returned to the Contractor for corrections and resubmitted as <br /> specified in Section 01300. Within 7 calendar days after the Engineer has accepted the <br /> Contractor's construction schedule, the Contractor shall submit the five copies of the final <br /> version of the construction schedule and database to the Engineer in accordance with <br /> Section 01300. — <br /> The Contractor shall submit a detailed schedule of values for use in preparing pay estimates <br /> and in evaluating changes. Each activity in the schedule of values shall correlate to an activity in <br /> the construction schedule. The data in these reports shall serve as the basis for processing the <br /> Contractor's progress payment requests. The Contractor shall be responsible for the adequacy <br /> of the schedule and for managing all construction activities including those of the subcontractors — <br /> and suppliers. <br /> The Engineer and the Contractor shall meet to review the percent complete for each activity that — <br /> has been assigned a value on the detailed schedule of values. The agreed upon percentage <br /> complete shall be the basis for determining the monthly progress payments. <br /> D. Schedule Revisions — <br /> Revisions to the items which are on the critical path as shown on the accepted CPM schedule <br /> logic may be made only with written approval of the Engineer.
