1.04 SUBMITTALS <br /> In accordance with Section 01300, submittals shall include test results, certifications, and <br /> source for all earthwork materials. <br /> 1.05 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> No measurement will be made. Full compensation for conforming to these requirements, <br /> including all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work <br /> involved in this section necessary for completion of the work, as shown on the Contract Plans, <br /> as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions and as directed by the <br /> Engineer, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of <br /> work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> PART 2 — PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 MATERIALS <br /> A. Engineered Fill <br /> Unless otherwise indicated or specified, engineered fill shall be used for all fill work. Engineered <br /> fill material shall consist of soil excavated onsite, or hauled to the site from offsite sources, free <br /> of debris, wood, trash, peat, and other objectionable material which may be compressible or <br /> which cannot be compacted properly. Engineered fill shall be well graded and shall possess <br /> sufficient fines such that no nesting or voids result in the compacted mass. Import engineered fill <br /> material with low to non-expansive soil meeting the following requirements: <br /> Sieve Size Percent Passing by <br /> Weight <br /> 3 inches 100 <br /> 1 inch 95 <br /> #200 15-50 <br /> Plasticity (P.1.) = 15 or less <br /> Liquid Limit (L.L.) = 30 or less <br /> B.
