3.03 MANHOLES <br /> Manholes shall be constructed as shown on the Drawings. <br /> SECTION 02800 — CLOSED-CIRCUIT TELEVISION PIPELINE INSPECTION <br /> PART 1 — GENERAL <br /> 1.01 SUMMARY <br /> A. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection is required at the following phases of <br /> the work to: <br /> 1. Pre and Post construction Inspection of existing irrigation pipeline as <br /> indicated on the Drawings. <br /> 2. Post construction inspection of all sewer pipelines installed as part of the <br /> project. <br /> B. This section is intended to provide the Contractor with general guidelines. It is the <br /> Contractor's responsibility to supply all labor, materials, equipment and <br /> apparatus not specifically mentioned herein or noted on the Plans, but which are <br /> incidental and necessary to complete the specified work. <br /> 1.02 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. The Contractor shall provide the following submittals as specified in <br /> Section 01300: <br /> 1. The Contractor shall provide to the Engineer video recording and suitable <br /> log for each pipeline inspection. All video inspection shall utilize VHS- <br /> fiormat videotapes or DVD for documentation. Unedited video recordings <br /> and a suitable log of the inspection shall be provided to the Engineer five <br /> working days prior to sewer pipeline construction (Inspection of existing <br /> irrigation pipeline) and within three working days after the sewer is <br /> installed and backfilled (for both irrigation pipeline and all installed <br /> sewers). If post-installation inspection recordings are not submitted within <br /> three working days of the pipeline installation, the Engineer, may at their <br /> discretion, suspend any further installation of pipe until the post- <br /> installation recordings are submitted. As a result of this suspension, no <br /> additional working days will be added to the contract, nor will any <br /> adjustment be made for increase in cost. <br /> 2. Pre-installation inspection log: Submitted with each pre-installation video <br /> recording. The log shall identify the irrigation line by street location and <br /> distance from upstream end. The log shall include: <br /> a. Location and alignment length. <br /> b. Documentation and detailed description of defects, unusual <br /> conditions, presence of scale and corrosion prior to installing the <br /> adjacent sewer. <br /> 3. Post-installation inspection log: Submitted with each post-installation <br /> video recording.
