C. Unless otherwise specified, all public and private property impacted by the <br /> construction shall be restored as indicated in this Section or on the Drawings. <br /> D. Ensure that construction related activities do not damage off-site features or _ <br /> adjacent vegetation. The Engineer shall be notified immediately if accidental <br /> damage occurs. Contractor shall ensure that adjacent roads are maintained and <br /> clear of soil and/or other debris at all times during construction. Any changes or <br /> modifications to this plan shall receive prior approval from the Engineer. - <br /> 1.02 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Procedures: Section 01300. <br /> 1.03 SITE CONDITIONS <br /> A. Execute all work in an orderly and careful manner with due consideration for <br /> surrounding areas, plantings, or structures which are to remain. <br /> 1. Protect adjacent property and improvements from work damage. <br /> 2. Repair any damage until acceptable to Engineer. <br /> B. Protect improvements from damage, soiling or discoloration. <br /> C. Examine finish grades, verify elevations, observe conditions under which work is <br /> to be performed and notify Engineer of unsatisfactory conditions. <br /> D. Utilities: Determine location of utilities and perform work in manner which will <br /> avoid possible damage; hand excavate as required. <br /> 1.04 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> No measurement will be made.
