Pump Construction _. <br /> 1. Materials shall be as listed in the table above. <br /> 2. Impeller shall be cast in one piece single vane design and shall be — <br /> statically and dynamically balanced. The impeller shall be keyed to the <br /> shaft and firmly held in place by a stainless steel socket head bolt. The <br /> arrangement shall be such that the impeller cannot be loosened by torque <br /> from either forward or reverse rotation. <br /> 3. All nuts and bolts shall be Type 304 stainless steel. _ <br /> B. Bearings <br /> 1. Pump bearings shall be of the ball or roller type. Each motor pump shaft -- <br /> shall be supported by two ball bearings arranged for grease lubrication. <br /> Bearing shall be designed in accordance with the Anti Friction Bearing <br /> Manufacturers Association, Inc.
