Pumps and motors will be <br /> submerged for extended periods of time. The pumped fluid temperature is expected to range <br /> from 50°F to 140°F. Corrosion-resistant pump shall be suitable for pumping sodium <br /> hypochlorite solutions. <br /> 1.04 SUBMITTALS <br /> Submittals shall be provided in accordance with Section 01300 and shall include the following <br /> information: <br /> A. A list of any requested deviations from this specification accompanied by a detailed <br /> written explanation. The Engineer shall be the final authority for determining the <br /> acceptability of the requested deviations. <br /> B. Manufacturer's data including materials of construction and equipment weight. <br /> C. Predicted performance curves developed for the specific application. <br /> 1.05 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> No measurement will be made. Full compensation for conforming to these requirements, <br /> including all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work <br /> involved in this section necessary for completion of the work, as shown on the Contract Plans, <br /> as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions and as directed by the <br /> Engineer, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of <br /> work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> Division III-129 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer <br /> July 2007 CIP Nos. 7468, 7589, 7590 <br />
