C. All appurtenances and fittings in the ductile iron pipeline shall be bonded and <br /> provided galvanic anode cathodic protection using prepackaged zinc anodes. <br /> D. Test stations shall be installed at the location designated on the drawings. <br /> 1.05 CODE REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. Materials, workmanship and installation shall conform to all requirements of the <br /> legally constituted authority having jurisdiction. These authorities include, but are <br /> not limited to, the latest revision of the State of California, Department of <br /> Industrial Relations, Division of Industrial Safety Orders of the Industrial Accident <br /> Commission; and all other applicable State, County, or City codes and <br /> regulations. Nothing in the drawings or specifications is to be construed to permit <br /> work not conforming to these regulations and codes. Where larger size or better <br /> grade materials than required by these regulations and codes are specified, the <br /> specifications and drawings shall have precedence. <br /> B. The 18-inch pipeline, which is being installed, is under the influence of high <br /> voltage AC from Station 301+10 to 422+66. If there is a ground fault with <br /> overhead transmission power lines lethal voltages may occur on the pipeline. <br /> Dry insulated boots, rubber gloves and other protective devices shall be used by <br /> the Contractor at all times in accordance with Section 5 of NACE RP0177-2000 <br /> "Mitigation of Alternating Current and Lightning Effects on Metallic Structures and <br /> Corrosion Control Systems". <br /> 1.06 REFERENCES <br /> This section contains references to the following documents. They are a part of this <br /> section as specified and modified. In case of a conflict between the requirements of this <br /> section and those of the listed documents, the requirements of this section shall prevail. <br /> A.
