City Of Tracy Design Standards <br /> In the event that certain items or requirements within the Contract Documents are conflicting, <br /> the precedence of documents shall be in accordance with Section 2.09 of the City of Tracy <br /> Standard Specifications, dated November 1988. Among the Specifications, the Greenbook has _ <br /> precedence over the State Standard Specifications. <br /> SECTION 4 — PERMITS DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> Three sets of contract drawings and specifications will be furnished to the Contractor without <br /> charge. Additional sets may be furnished upon request, at the cost of reproduction. — <br /> The Contractor is responsible for obtaining a copy of the Standard Specifications for Public <br /> Works Construction "Greenbook" current edition (SSPWC), State of California Department of — <br /> Transportation Standard Specifications and Plans, current edition, and any and all other <br /> reference specifications and manuals cited as part of the Contract Documents. <br /> The Contractor shall procure all permits and licenses, pay all charges and fees, and give all <br /> notices necessary for lawful prosecution of the work. All permits, licenses, and other <br /> authorizations shall be secured in sufficient time to prevent delays to the work. The Contractor <br /> shall comply with the provisions of said permits, licenses and other authorizations. <br /> Contractor shall obtain a "No Fee" CIP Construction permit from the Development and <br /> Engineering Services (DES), Building Division and shall comply with all permit requirements. <br /> Contractor shall coordinate with DES to insure that all appropriate construction inspections <br /> occur. -- <br /> SECTION 5 —TRADE NAMES OR EQUALS <br /> Whenever any particular material, process, or equipment is indicated by patent, proprietary or <br /> brand name, or by name of manufacturer or supplier, such wording is used for the purpose of _ <br /> facilitating its description and shall be deemed to be followed by the words "or equal". The <br /> Contractor may offer any material, process, or equipment, which is considered to be equivalent <br /> to that indicated, in accordance with City Standard Specifications. The contractor shall be <br /> Division II - 3 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer <br /> July 2007 CIP Nos. 7468,7589, 7590 <br />
