A minimum of one 12-foot wide lane shall be open for traffic during working hours, or as <br /> otherwise required. <br /> Normal work limited to daylight hours or as directed by the Engineer except when construction <br /> temporarily prevents access into private driveways. <br /> All lanes and the full width of the traveled way shall be open to all traffic when construction <br /> operations are not actively in progress. <br /> Backfill all trenches at the end of each work day. <br /> Provide aggregate base and compact all areas within the roadway and shoulder. <br /> Provide signs indicating rough road conditions during use of temporary pavement. <br /> Provide temporary paving at the end of each workday. <br /> At the end of each workday remove all components of the traffic control system except portable <br /> delineators placed along pavement elevation differential, or as required by the City. <br /> Existing permanent traffic control signs, barricades and devices shall remain in effective <br /> operation unless a substitute operation is approved as part of the Traffic Control Plan. <br /> D. Public Notice <br /> Proof of notification is required before work will be allowed within the roadway. <br /> Two weeks, and 48 hours prior to beginning any work in an area or the project, provide written <br /> public notice to all resident, businesses, churches, property owners, tenants, and applicable <br /> parties within and adjacent to that project area. <br /> Notice shall state the following: <br /> 1. Expected date for start of construction <br /> 2. Expected duration of activity <br /> 3. General description of construction activity <br /> 4. Locations and limits of prohibited street parking during construction <br /> 5. If driveway will be obstructed <br /> 6. Any inconvenience that may impact local residents. <br /> 7. Name, address and 24 hour telephone number for Contractor <br /> Notify the following agencies two weeks and 48 hours before implementing the approved Traffic <br /> Control Plan. <br /> July 2007 Division III-4 NEI Phase II Water and Sewer <br /> CIP Nos. 7468, 7589, 7590 <br />
