Anchor temporary k-rail to existing pavement <br /> G. Flaggers <br /> Wear high visibility safety apparel complying with the Traffic Control Manual. <br /> Utilize highly visible STOP/SLOW sign paddles complying with the Traffic Control Manual. <br /> Utilize portable, self-contained two-way radio when more than one flagger is used for traffic <br /> control <br /> Provide Flaggers with the necessary equipment and training to perform their duties in <br /> accordance with Traffic Control Manual and Section 12 of the Caltrans Standard Specifications. <br /> Provide Flaggers to safely control movement of vehicles and pedestrians around areas disrupted <br /> by the Work. <br /> Locate flaggers in positions that provide adequate time for motorists to respond to the flagger's <br /> instructions <br /> Flaggers are required during al work of this intersection at Banta Road and Eleventh Street. <br /> Traffic signals shall be turned to "flashing red" with flaggers until intersection is restored to <br /> original operating condition. <br /> H. Lane Closures <br /> Do not close any lane until traffic control devices and signage are in place in accordance with <br /> the Traffic Control Plan. <br /> Execute construction activities to maintain two-way traffic at all times. When one lane traffic <br /> control is approved, control one-way traffic by flaggers. <br /> At the end of each workday, restore all lanes in the full width of the traveled way using <br /> temporary pavement. <br /> Do not stop or hold vehicles for more that 15 minutes. <br /> Allow emergency vehicles immediate passage at all times. <br /> School buses shall be passed through the work zone with minimal delay. <br /> All lane closures that require one-way traffic shall have reversible lane with traffic waits of no <br /> more than 15 minutes in duration. Flaggers shall be provided at all times during lane closure. <br /> I.
