The contract lump sum price paid for Water Main Cut In will include full compensation for
<br /> conforming to these requirements includes all the work involved in water pipe installation
<br /> including excavation, pavement removal, dewatering, furnishing and placement of water pipe,
<br /> fittings, couplings, bedding, backfill and compaction, temporary paving, testing, and disinfecting,
<br /> connection to the existing water lines including existing water main dewatering, cutting,
<br /> demolition, and coatings for completion of the work.
<br /> The lump sum price paid shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, tools,
<br /> equipment and incidentals and for doing all the work, complete and in place, all as shown on the
<br /> drawings, specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions, and as directed by
<br /> the Engineer, and no additional compensation will be allowed.
<br /> SECTION 4 NEI TANK SITE IMPROVEMENTS (BID ITEM 11)
<br /> The work of this section consists of improvements at the existing NEI Tank and Pump Station
<br /> site including vaults, connection to the existing water storage tank, all site work, equipment and —
<br /> all other work required for a complete operating installation.
<br /> All work shall conform to applicable sections of the Special Provisions. -
<br /> MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT
<br /> NEI Tank Site Improvements (Bid Item 11) shall be paid for on a lump sum basis. Measurement
<br /> will be based on the percentage of work completed as determined by the Engineer, and the
<br /> detailed schedule or breakdown of lump sum items as approved by the Engineer.
<br /> The contract lump sum price paid for the NEI Tank Site Improvements will include full
<br /> compensation for conforming to these requirements, including all work required for installation of
<br /> all mechanical and structural, steel piping, chlorine piping, valves, site work, dewatering, access
<br /> road, connection to the NEI tank piping, and appurtenant facilities except electrical and
<br /> instrumentation.
<br /> The lump sum price paid shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, tools,
<br /> equipment and incidentals and for doing all the work, complete and in place, all as shown on the
<br /> drawings, specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions, and as directed by
<br /> the Engineer, and no additional compensation will be allowed.
<br /> SECTION 5 SANITARY SEWER (BID ITEMS 12, 13, 14, AND 15)
<br /> The work of this section consists of construction of 12- inch and 18-inch diameter sanitary
<br /> sewer, manholes, and related work. _
<br /> The work shall consist of staking, pavement removal, trench excavation, dewatering, placement
<br /> of new sewer pipe, manholes, fittings, bedding, backfill, compaction, temporary paving, and
<br /> other related work as required for the complete installation of the sanitary sewer. -
<br /> Sanitary sewer pipe materials, installation, cleaning, testing, and inspection shall conform to the
<br /> requirements of Section 02617 and related sections of the Special Provisions. Sanitary sewer
<br /> manhole installation shall conform to the requirements of Section 02700 and related sections of
<br /> the Special Provisions. All work shall conform to applicable sections of the Special Provisions.
