Board of Supervisors -2- <br /> TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF <br /> CLINTON SOUTH AVENUE AND MELLO AVENUE <br /> plan for the closure of Clinton South Avenue and Mello Avenue has been reviewed and <br /> approved by the Department of Public Works'Traffic Engineering Division. A general advisory <br /> of the road closures will be prepared by the Applicant and distributed to local residents and <br /> emergency agencies two weeks prior to the event. <br /> Section 10-2700 of the Ordinance Code of San Joaquin County gives authority to the Board of <br /> Supervisors to restrict the use of County roads in the interest of public protection. Public <br /> Works staff has reviewed the request and recommends its approval subject to conformance <br /> with the conditions as stipulated in the proposed Resolution. The Applicant has obtained <br /> insurance which meets the County's requirements. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT.- <br /> Cost <br /> MPACT:Cost to the County consists of staff processing time, which will be partially offset by the <br /> Encroachment Permit fee. <br /> ACTION FOLLOWING APPROVAL: <br /> The Department of Public Works will issue an Encroachment Permit to the Applicant for the <br /> road closures, and Calor The Skies, Inc. will notify emergency services, schools, and other <br /> affected agencies. <br /> Sincerel , <br /> /T.
