CCSF's contractor assume full responsibility for all liability for personal injury or <br /> damage to property that may arise out of the work as stated in the MOA. <br /> 9. All backfill material is to be moistened as necessary and thoroughly compacted with <br /> mechanical means. If required by the Director, such backfill shall consist of gravel or <br /> crushed rock. Permittee shall maintain the surface over structures placed hereunder as <br /> may be necessary to insure the return of the roadway to a completely stable condition and <br /> until relieved of such responsibility by the County Department of Public Works. <br /> Wherever a gravel, crushed rock, or asphalt surfacing is cut or damaged in the work of <br /> placing an encroachment structure, such material shall either be separately stored and <br /> replaced in the roadway as nearly as possible in it original state or shall be replaced in <br /> kind, and the roadway shall be left in at least as good a condition as it was before the <br /> commencement of operations of placing the encroachment structure. <br /> 10. Permittee shall secure any necessary permission to perform Work from abutting property <br /> owners prior to starting Work. <br /> 11. Prior to any construction work by CCSF in the Par Country Estates subdivision,.SFPUC's <br /> Project construction management staff shall coordinate and work with the County for the <br /> possible temporary shutdown of the residential water lines at Bernard Road. SFPUC <br /> shall work with the County on advanced planning of a temporary shutdown of the water <br /> lines and restoration of two berms west of Chrisman Road that route surface storm water <br /> runoff towards Vernalis Road, and restoration of the water lines and surface drainage <br /> facilities. <br /> 12. Prior to issuance of this Permit, SFPUC shall have received County's approval of CCSF's <br /> (a) submitted traffic plans for Chrisman Road and the temporary road closures on Koster <br /> Road, Bird Road, and Bernard Drive <br /> 13. Prior to issuance of this Permit, SFPUC shall have received County's approval of CCSF's <br /> submitted traffic plans for the temporary and permanent ramps on Chrisman Road. <br /> 14. SFPUC is limited to the following three temporary road closures during the construction <br /> of the SJPL pipeline: <br /> a. Koster Road pipeline installation closure shall be limited to one week with a <br /> detour on Bird Road. Koster Road roadway restoration/repaving closure shall be <br /> limited to two weekdays with a detour on Bird Road. <br /> i. SFPUC staff shall provide advanced notification and coordinate with the <br /> business owners and the San Joaquin County Public Works Department -- <br /> Public Services Division. <br /> b. Bernard Drive pipeline installation closure shall be limited to no more than five <br /> weekdays of a single-lane "reversible" road .closure, but open to residents; <br /> provided that CCSF shall use good faith efforts to limit such closure to as few as <br /> two week days.
