The contactor needed to be pushed in manually with a screwdriver to <br />get the gate to raise. Both North and South gates have exceeded their operational life and need be replaced with new gates with <br />hard wired power supply. <br />Single traffic gates are located at each end of the bridge. Each gate has three flashing red lights mounted along the length of the <br />gate arm. <br />Alarm bells are mounted adjacent to the traffic gates. <br />There are two signal lights mount on steel poles on the right side of the roadway at each end of the bridge. <br />(5/9/2023) Both traffic gates have exposed wiring or degraded wiring insulation. See mechanical defect.
