It was found that approximately 20 percent of the deck surface is <br />delaminated. Some delaminations have spalled off near Pier 2 and were patched with AC. <br />There were previously noted spalls were patched and are no longer present. There were several 3 inch diameter x 1 inch deep spalls <br />in the soffit of the deck with exposed reinforcing bars in both spans at random locations, predominantly near the edges. These were <br />patched and appear to be sound with no reinforcement visible. Refer to Photo 7. <br /> <br />There are pattern cracks up to 0.07 inch wide spaced at 4 to 8 inch apart throughout the deck but concenetrated over the wheel <br />lines.
