Scour mitigation work has since been completed at these locations. However, there is still up to 8 inches of exposured <br />steel with light to heavy surface rust over the gabion baskets at Bents 24 and 25. (See Photo 13 dated 06/26/2018). Refer to the <br />Waterway section of this report. There has been no significant change when compared to previous photos. <br />Hydraulics performed a field review on 08/21/18 and other than major debris lodged on the piles of Bents 23 & 24, no substantial <br />change in scour or pile exposure was evident but the bridge remains scour critical (refer to Hydraulic Report of 08/21/18 for details). <br />(mjf - 12/6/18) <br />This element represents the rock rip-rap within Span 23, the gabion rock baskets and rock rip-rap between Bents 24 and 25 as well <br />as the rock rip-rap at the abutments. No significant defects were noted.
