The center pivot rim roller bearings, end jacks, and end jack blocks. <br />The rim roller bearings consist of six tapered rollers on the north, and six on the west of the center pier. <br />There are two end jack blocks with live load shoes at each end of the swing span to support the bridge for traffic. Each set of blocks <br />is driven by a single self-contained hydraulic motor and ram. <br />There are two end jacks on each end of the swing span. The drive also powers four turning (slewing) cylinder rams that rotate the span. Flow control solenoid valves control the <br />direction of the various rams. <br />Each set of End Jack Blocks is driven by a single self-contained hydraulic motor and ram. The west end jacks located at the ends of <br />the swing span, are each driven by a 5 HP electric motor, the east by a 10 HP motor.
