ONE FIRE EXTINGUISHER,SITE PERSONNEL WILL EVACUATE THE <br /> AREA AND WAIT FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO RESPOND. <br /> 4.2.8. Confined Space Entry <br /> Confined space hazards are not considered relevant during this stage of the facility <br /> closure. NO CONFINED SPACES WILL BE ENTERED DURING THIS STAGE <br /> OF FACILITY CLOSURE. <br /> 5. ONSITE SAFETY EQUIPMENT <br /> The following subsections describe personal and general safety equipment that will be <br /> required onsite. <br /> 5.1. PERSONAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT <br /> The following personal protective equipment(PPE) is required to be worn while onsite: <br /> :- Hard hat when working with heavy equipment <br /> Steel toed shoes <br /> Gloves <br /> ➢ Safety glasses or goggles <br /> ➢ Hearing protection <br /> 5.2. AIR MONITORING WITH PID OR FID <br /> Air monitoring has not been deemed necessary during this stage of facility closure. <br /> 5.3. GENERAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT <br /> The following items must be available and easily accessible for use: <br /> ➢ Fire extinguisher(foam,dry chemical,or carbon dioxide) <br /> ➢ Flashlight <br /> 6. TRAINING <br /> All personnel who may be exposed to onsite contaminants must provide documentation <br /> of the following: <br /> ➢ Current training that meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120 and 8 CCR 5192, to <br /> include: <br /> PUSAESTROJECTS\2005\05319 SJ Cmnly\JiASP.dm 6 <br />
