Site Health & Safety Plan UST Removal and Replacement <br />574 West Grantline Road <br />Tracy, CA <br />10.0 General Site Safety Provisions <br />10.1 General Site Health and Safety Work Rules <br />1. No drinking or illegal drugs will be allowed on site. Anyone <br />reporting to work under the influence of alcohol and/or illegal drugs <br />will be subject to disciplinary action. Any employee under a <br />physician's care and/or taking prescribed narcotics must notify the <br />Site Health and Safety Officer. <br />2. Personal protective equipment is required in designated areas. <br />3. Eating, drinking, smoking and chewing gum are allowed only in <br />designated areas of the Support Zone. Smoking is strictly prohibited <br />in the Exclusion Zone. <br />4. Changes in work practices or work rules will be implemented only <br />after the approval of the Site Health and Safety Officer. <br />5. All personnel entering the Exclusion Zone must complete the required <br />decon procedure before entering the Support Zone. <br />6. All on-site personnel shall follow the Emergency Procedures <br />explicitly. <br />7. Kneeling or sitting directly on the ground is prohibited in the <br />Exclusion and Contamination Reduction Zones. <br />8. All employees will utilize the buddy system while working on site. <br />10.2 Conditions of Site Access <br />1. All personnel must complete the required training program <br />referenced in section 12 of this Site Health and Safety Plan prior to <br />starting work at this site. <br />2.
