No hazardous waste label on seven 55-gallon drums of used oil and one 55-gallon <br /> drum of"bad diesel" in the storage trailer by the propane tanks on the south side of the facility, one 55- <br /> gallon drum of used oil in the yellow metal bin on the north side of the Fab Shop, and the two 55-gallon <br /> drums of waste paint in a bin outside the paint booths (see Item #108). All hazardous waste containers <br /> shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of <br /> waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. <br /> * Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since these containers were not labeled with the initial date of accumulation, and are <br /> therefore considered to have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the <br /> EHD by 11/27/2011. <br /> go9 <br /> 804,808. At least six Universal Waste (UW) fluorescent lamps were not stored in containers or marked <br /> with the start date of accumulation in the equipment storage trailer north of the Fab Shop. <br /> Universal Wastes, including aerosol cans, lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, <br /> electronic devices, etc. shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to the <br /> environment, labeled to identify the type of Universal Waste and the initial date of accumulation, <br /> managed within one year of storage. <br /> * Immediately dispose of the above Universal Waste - lamps and submit a copy of the disposal receipt <br /> to EHD by 11/27/2011. <br /> 812. Copies of Universal Waste disposal records were not available for inspection.
