No hazardous waste label on seven 55-gallon drums of used oil and one 55-gallon drum of"bad diesel" in the storage trailer by the propane tanks on the south side of the facility, one 55- gallon drum of used oil in the yellow metal bin on the north side of the Fab Shop, and the two 55-gallon drums of waste paint in a bin outside the paint booths (see Item #108). All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" 2. name and address of generator 3. hazardous properties 4. physical state 5. composition (contents) 6. accumulation start date Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. * Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since these containers were not labeled with the initial date of accumulation, and are therefore considered to have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 11/27/2011. go9 804,808. At least six Universal Waste (UW) fluorescent lamps were not stored in containers or marked with the start date of accumulation in the equipment storage trailer north of the Fab Shop. Universal Wastes, including aerosol cans, lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, electronic devices, etc. shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to the environment, labeled to identify the type of Universal Waste and the initial date of accumulation, managed within one year of storage. * Immediately dispose of the above Universal Waste - lamps and submit a copy of the disposal receipt to EHD by 11/27/2011. 812. Copies of Universal Waste disposal records were not available for inspection. A copy of each Universal Waste disposal record shall be retained on site at least three years. * Immediately locate a copy of all Universal Waste disposal records for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by 11/27/2011. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
