• Direct and manage equipment operations for safety,production,maintenance, <br /> and quality control. <br /> • Establish and monitor overall department performance for production and <br /> quality standards. <br /> • Control and minimize labor overtime, and repair expenses. <br /> • Provide leadership and training to all employees in order to accomplish the <br /> company goals and objectives. <br /> • Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs. <br /> • Supervises all outside contractors. Perform all duties in conformance to <br /> appropriate safety and security standards. <br /> • The employee can be depended on to report to work at the scheduled time and <br /> is seldom absent from work.Employee can be depended upon to complete <br /> work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious,about <br /> assignments. <br /> • The essential duties and responsibilities contained herein describe the scope of <br /> this position,but should not be considered to be an all-inclusive listing of <br /> work requirements. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned <br /> including work in other areas to cover absences or relief to equalize peak <br /> work periods or otherwise balance the workload. <br /> SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> • Provides direct supervision to the Maintenance Department,through the <br /> Equipment Supervisor(s). Also,participates in the administrative supervision <br /> of the entire facility. <br /> • Supervise the activities of all outside contractors who are working in our <br /> facility. <br /> • Directly supervises employees for facility maintenance. <br /> KNOWLEDGE,SHILLS AND ABILITIES: <br /> • Strong mechanical aptitudes,and a working knowledge of electrical,and <br /> mechanical systems. <br /> • Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills. <br /> • Ability to define problems, and resolve them quickly. <br /> • Knowledge of local building codes and OSHA regulations. <br /> • Knowledge of all current health and safety regulations. <br /> • Requires strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written <br /> communication skills. <br /> • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations. <br />
