Several phalate compounds are present at concentrations which <br /> significantly exceed the water quality criteria for protection of <br /> aquatic life. <br /> B. The chlorinated compounds present are all carcinogens. Cumulative <br /> effects of these compounds exceeds cancer risk levels by a factor of <br /> 220. <br /> C. 1,1-Dichlorethylene is present at concentrations in excess of recom- <br /> mended drinking water criteria. <br /> 2. Based on the 17 May 1985 sample results Gold Bond should develop a source <br /> identification program designed to identify and eliminate organic compounds <br /> from the discharge. Such a program should include: <br /> A. Background water quality of all on-site production wells. EPA 601, <br /> and 625 analyses should be performed. Additionally Gold Bond should <br />
