"a inoreanic chemicals
This waste stream represents the variety of chemicals used in the research and operations
areas. Whenever laboratories are cleaned out during laboratory relocations or researcher
departure, there is an increase in the generation of this waste stream.
During the reporting year, a number of laboratory clean -outs took place as a result of the
remodel of old laboratories and move of existing operations to newly constructed
buildings. The effort to fully and consistently promote and oversee the effective clean
out laboratories prior to the changeover of researchers using the facilities is currently
underway. These factors have resulted in an increase in this waste stream.
September 1, 2015 SB 14 Report N-3
