The most
recent disposal record was dated 2/22/17, but according to Mr. Bahr, the used oil has been getting hauled to the
SJC Household Hazardous Waste Facility in small quantities due to the receiving limit at the facility, and the
remainder of the oil has been left on site.
-A 5 gallon bucket of paint thinner, paint gun, and other paint waste was observed in the storage building with no
labeling. According to Mr. Bahr, the bucket has been on site for approximately ten years, but has never become full
because the waste evaporates too fast.
Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste
stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days.
