Chronology 820 American Street, Stockton <br /> Page 2 <br /> 09/17/91 PHS/EHD notified that Seibold Corporation has bankruptcy proceedings <br /> pending in the federal court. <br /> 01/23/92 PHS/EHD requested the PIER be submitted within 14-days or <br /> enforcement proceedings will commence. <br /> 09/30/92 PHS/EHD requested submittal of the PIER by 11/30/92. <br /> 12/16/92 PHS/EHD requested submittal of the PIER by 02/15/93. <br /> 01/07/93 Site field work, four soil borings. A potential purchaser of the property <br /> financed the work. <br /> 03/09/93 PHS/EHD requested a work plan to continue the investigation of the site <br /> be submitted by 04/30/93. <br /> 04/06/93 Site field work, two soil borings advanced, one grab water sample <br /> collected. Analytical results showed 17 mg/I TPHd, 14 mg/I TPI-Ig and 20 <br /> mg/I benzene. A potential purchaser of the property financed the work. <br /> 06/18/93 PHS/EHD requested submittal of a work plan to continue the investigation <br /> of the site by,July 30, 1993. <br /> 06/24/94 PHS/EHD sent 14-day letter to RP to submit the requested work plan. <br /> 07/13/94 PHS/EHD notification to the responsible party, a meeting was scheduled <br /> for July 28, 1994 to discuss his failure to comply with County directives. <br /> 07/28/94 Scheduled meeting took place, responsible party agreed to submit an <br /> application to the cleanup fund, which was subsequently rejected due to <br /> his violations of the Health and Safety Code. (03/08/95 SWRCB-CUF <br /> correspondence). <br /> 01/09/97 PHS/EHD issued their final directive to the responsible party to submit a <br /> work plan to continue the investigation of the documented contamination <br /> at this site. The work plan was due by 01/24/97 and work was to be <br /> completed by 02/07/97. The work plan was to include a minimum of three <br /> monitoring wells and a sufficient number of soil borings to estimate the <br /> mass of the remaining hydrocarbon contamination. <br /> 01/23/97 The responsible party submitted a request to schedule a meeting with <br /> PHS/EHD staff. <br /> 02/12/97 Meeting with responsible party, potential purchaser of the site and <br /> PHS/EHD staff. The potential purchaser of the site agreed to notify <br /> PHS/EHD within two weeks of his decision to pay for more investigation <br /> or not. <br />
